ASVDA selects 9 Taiwanese entrepreneurs — including KiWi New Energy's Steve Huang — for Draper University's Silicon Valley Startup Hero Camp, spanning blockchain, AI, sports tech, and new energy.

To strengthen the connection between Taiwan and the startup ecosystem in Silicon Valley, USA, the Asia Silicon Valley Development Agency (ASVDA) has been collaborating with Draper University, a startup school in Silicon Valley, since 2018. Together, they select young people from Taiwan with startup aspirations to participate in the "Startup Hero Camp" in Silicon Valley. Following the selection of 15 trainees last year, 9 entrepreneurs have recently been selected to undergo training in the summer program in Silicon Valley. A pre-departure press conference was held today (27th).
The selected teams this year come from diverse industry sectors such as blockchain, medical data applications, artificial intelligence, silver-haired innovation, sports technology, and new energy. In terms of experience, they range from novice entrepreneurs full of startup dreams to continuous entrepreneurs with rich industry experience. Notably, four of them are still university students, demonstrating the diverse innovative ideas and technical advantages of Taiwan's new generation of entrepreneurs.
One of the selected entrepreneurs heading to Silicon Valley, Ouyang Wei, founder of KryptoGO, stated that the company is still in its early stages. Therefore, he hopes that through the mentors and resources provided by the Startup Hero Camp, they can achieve fruitful results in fundraising and client expansion.
In addition to KryptoGO and Wufu Technology, the other seven selected entrepreneurs are: He Mincheng, Founder of Core Blockchain Ltd.; Lin Hongjun, Founder of Orbit; He Sanxuan, innovative drone product developer and student at the Department of Aeronautical Engineering and Design, Shenyang Aerospace University; Li Chenfan, COO of Aopeng International Marketing; Steve Huang (Huang Weizhe), Founder of KiWi New Energy; Zhang Fengfu, Co-founder of TimeLab; and Lin Guanyi, developer of a silver-haired community app and student at the Department of Business Administration, National Chung Cheng University.
